About me

Paralegal with 8 years of experience with the federal government. Specialized in processing Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) requests. Experienced legal researcher in matters related to employment law, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, contract law, criminal law, sentence computation, Habeas Corpus petitions, administrative law, fiscal law, and FOIA/PA.

I have provided training on FOIA/PA, diverse software applications utilized by the federal government, such as Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams, and legal writing and legal research for paralegals. Currently, I manage the SharePoint site for my local organization.

In general, I provide legal support and legal analysis to attorneys employed by the federal government in diverse legal matters, manage the FOIA/PA Program for all offices within my Agency’s West Region, support training sessions both in person and online, perform extensive, specialized, and independent research on complex legal and factual issues, analyze data from different offices and coordinate fraud and waste reporting where appropriate, prepare reports for Agency decision-makers at various levels of leadership, research and analyze Agencies policies, precedent administrative and judicial decisions, rulings, opinions, state and federal judicial decisions, conduct legal and administrative research in response to problems referred to our office that are of first impression, propose solutions when sources of information are insufficient or business operations are inadequate, manage assigned projects, communicate complex technical requirements to nontechnical staff, and present briefings to management officials on complex IT issues.
